GKS BUTTERFLY is a three-compartimental rotating hinge knee prosthesis with intramedullary anchorage indicated in those cases where an elevated level of intrinsic stability is required (ligament instability, serious axial deviation).

The MICROLOY® version of the GKS BUTTERFLY is characterized by metal on metal hinged coupling at the femur-tibia joint level. This particular feature increases the average life of the implant by reducing wear caused by flexion-extension.

Thanks to the system’s modularity (femoral-tibial prosthesis, intramedullary stems, tibial compensators) the GKS BUTTERFLY gives the surgeon optimal choices in implant combinations.
